The market would not be so mathematically inconsistant. Previously someone posted that owning stock is better since it offers ownership in the company. My guess is that 99.9% of investors purchase stock for the sole purpose ( or hope ) to profit. I love Hershey's with almonds , but I would not sell MRVC to buy Hershey foods because I think MRVC offers a better chance at future appreciation, eventhough Hersheys would give me sweeter pride of ownership.
