Gordie,

Scott's Wall Street Words says this about goodwill: "Goodwill does not appear on a company's financial statements unless another business is purchased at a price greater than book value." Russell says we had more than one acquisition during this period but with the book value of IP and StarComm equal to roughly the cost to replace the sand that goes into its microchips, goodwill is basically what we paid for the acquisitions and I'd say that it's far too optimistic to believe we bought both of these companies for $3« mil. I think there was a computer repair company we bought that shows up in the S-1 and on the nine month financials that didn't show up on the six month finnies.
