OK, put it this way.

In the near future 80% of the Unix systems "bought & installed" will also have "bought & installed" NDS. It is true to say that it may be a while before cutomers *see* the value, but once they do...

Eric has delivered.

This guy, (the analyst man) probably does not realise what is going on. Whilst MS is having a stab at the Unix installed base, all the Big Unix vendors are backing NDS. Why is that? well they don't want to go MAD. You guys have started the NDS "forum" and you have a good feel for what NDS can do. Now big business is also getting a good feel for what it can do for their customers.

A change of subject, a prediction.

With advent of faster and faster network technologies eg ATM, NT boxes are going to start squealing as their bolt on Network services start to implode. They will not be able to keep up with FAT pipe networks, Whilst IntranetWare servers will continue supplying Network *Services*
with superior Disk and LAN channel algorithms i.e. not developed for desktop operation.

Keep Cool,

ADE.
