I believe you are correct. Look, why would the two most knowledegeable persons in the company buy 84,000 shares during the 2nd. Q at open market prices of 6 5/8 to 10 1/4 if the 2Q97 results were not going to be equal to or greater than expectations? I mean, it would be very foolish, if not stupid to do so. Last time I saw something like this, and did not act on it, was with a company called Mastec, ticker MTZ, in which the CEO bought 100,000 shares at 25, and two other insiders also bought at 26, and two months later the stock went to 46 after they announced earnings and a deal to buy into another company. Lets face it guys, these people are usually very sharp and very knowledgeable. |
