Yeah, I'm very uncomfortable with it too, though I know it's the right thing, legally. I think what we face here wrt the link between violent pornography and subsequent violent behavior is that the research hasn't been done yet, so the law must remain the way it is until/unless a causal relationship is established. I was surprised to learn that the first child pornography laws weren't instituted until the 1970's.
