Make bin-Laden a martyr and every two-bit right-wing fundamentalist Arab hoodlum tries to fill his void for the next five years. Keep bin-Laden alive -- like we did the emperor of Japan -- and, for all practical purposes, he becomes a powerless, humiliated, emasculated figurehead.

It might be a big mistake to kill him, even if we get the chance.
