you see guys, the problem is NOT the damn limo. AMD has a history for spending money on parties (i.e. christmas party = 1 million). but that doesn't really affect the balance sheet. The point is: they spent a buttload on that plant in Texas and left it empty for months and had problems with their K5 and then spent more money buying NexGen and then couldn't sell the damn thing at prices they wanted (because Intel slashed their prices and put out a faster chip). I can't be specific on my info source, but I can tell you that unless the K6 sells like hotcakes next year, AMD may have to be sold off to some large corporation.
