"So, either supply arms to both sides or neither. Is there another way?" No such military imposition is ever going to bring resolution. Neither side will ever stand ultimately victorious. We will probably continue to muck around with it though. I offered a proposition a few months ago. No one was much interested. It has to do with a common interest that both sides have and that is religiously based and more profound than their short term grievances. It would require the designation of Jerusalem as an ancient and universally Holy site. The construction/reconstruction of a universal site of worship...(Solomon's temple/mosque/church/....). Betcha some day we get there.
