Re: "More than that, it is the fiduciary RESPONSIBILITY of management to its owners to minimize taxes."

That's true ... to a certain extent ... But let's pursue this a bit further ...

What I have seen at the bargaining table the past decade is this: Big Business not so long ago viewed itself in the fabric of America ... it was a corporate citizen ... emphasis on the word "citizen."

That's no longer true. Or as the chief negotiator for management screamed at us in 1997: "The only thing that matters is the bottom line! That's the only thing that matters!!"

For too many businesses, that's become the reality. The ONLY THING that matters is the bottom line. Forget about commitment to workers, commitment to community, even commitment to one's country, for goodness sake. The ONLY THING that matters is the bottom line (corporate greed).

Moving one's HQ out of the country is unpatriotic and extremist. Just because it's "legal" doesn't make it right.

I know that and so do you.

I'd almost rather go to a national flat tax for businesses and individuals alike than see this Big Business tax obscenity further erode the moral fabric of corporate America.
