Mike, Agree that those were exciting races. I, too, have been looking for someone from behind. Tough to find. Private Emblem has done it that way. As per my guess previously, the winner will now surely pay double figures with HH probably being made morning line favorite @ 5-1. This will be a great betting race, especially in the exotics.

Some observations: 1) A slow (but thrilling) finish in the Wood. 2) A surprisingly good race by Sunday Break in the same race. 3) Best race yet by Private Emblem. 4) My best figure over the past two weekends by far was earned by War Emblem. 5) Tracemark ran very quick at Bay Meadows, but he probably won't get in the race because of earnings. Even if he does, anybody tempted to put two bucks on him has to ignore the fact he ran against guys who will probably turn out to be cheap. And you'd have to also ignore the fact he just recently made a career of racing (?) against maidens. But then, I read where Lusty Latin who was third to Came Home was lengths ahead of him shortly after the wire. And his best credentials are from GG and Turf Paradise.

My introduction to online betting came off surprisingly well. Bet five races, winning four of them for a nice percentage profit (I still don't bet much). All my wins were in stakes. R
