Michael Cowpland Interviewed on CBC Business World yesterday. The interview was short and Cowpland seemed to be acting "low key" (for Cowpland anyways) without projecting any great revenue or profit projections. He did say that Suite 8 sales are selling 30% faster than the previous release of Suite 7. Corel's strategy is to concentrate on retail, legal, and government where their sales are "strong" and Cowpland hopes to chip away at Microsoft by offering better technolgy and value with a "faster pace development". NC were mentioned and Cowpland said that 50% of current companies PC's could be replaced by a NC.
