It's not underwhelming to take a mindset that considers the most important item on the curriculum the Friday night football game & actually manage to focus it on preparing the students for an achievement test. That's progress in my book.....everything is relative.
Texas isn't the only state with the "athletes are Gods" mentality....that's the 1st incorrect attitude in public schools that needs to change. A sound mind in a sound body is a healthy goal....many times the healthy mind part is overlooked.
