I spent a lot of time in a heavily Jewish neighborhood when I was in Jr High and HS. I never felt that there was ANY evangelical aspect to it. It's not like the JW's or LDS's who go door to door.

While I understand that conversion is a theoretical possibility, I haven't seen it as a very important part of the religion/culture. My Jewish friends smirked about Sammy Davis as a Jew. To them, he was a joke.

As I would have if I wanted to be one. Once a goyim always a goyim.
