Win2K is certainly the most stable MSFT OS. XP suffers a little from trying to be compatible with ill-behaved Win9X programs... There is a mechanism for any company to get an error report or crash dump for their products on XP. I don't know if there is a way to get independent analysis of a third party or MSFT program, have not looked at that.
