The quote is for ccNUMA systems and Beowulf Linux Clusters qualifies as a ccNUMA system! The original quote was wrt Microsoft supporting ccNUMA systems with Windows Server OSes. Too bad you have selective reading comprehension skills! They routinely miss the point! Do you read the whole thing or just glance at tiny pieces?

Hammer will be ccNUMA but with tighter (faster, wider and lower latency) linkage than current Beowulf clusters using Ethernet switching like the Microway system. You also evidently missed the 80 node rack shown on the page (80 way cluster).
