I agree with your conclusion, and that in your prior post, mine there was not meant as direct response to it ... sure the palestinians are handling it poorly - they could use a Gandhi about now, or better years ago, imho ... sure the israelis have the upper hand, and are an established fact on the ground now, more 'natives' among them born every day, and the US supporting and financing them
It is also true, and should be remembered throughout, that the palestinians have been greatly wronged by this theft of land .... as were others in the examples you cite, sure, doesn't mean it was right though, and doesn't mean we should support continued invasion like it ... which is still going on - look at that map of 'settlements' and connecting militarised roads, at Sharon marching on their holy site a year and a half ago ... this is the complete subjugation of one people by another, and nothing excuses it |
