I cant recall the exact date of the suit against Time but the basis was defamation based on an extensive article they published accusing Sharon of masterminding the killings at the two refugee camps in leb. Sharon won either a court or jury trial after all the evidence was heard. As you'd expect time had the very best 1st Amend lawyers representing them but the evidence was overwhelming in Sharon's favor. i am sure you can pull details from the web.
