For today there wasn't much in the short term trading department - "The run up in the market yesterday left so many stocks so far above support, that the screening for short term trades was very thin, out of 9000 stocks only 6 made the screening. This implies the risk is high relative to the target price for the short term trades. There were plenty of Category 1 breakout (daytrade) stocks, including: AGN, APOL, ATH, FDO, FLR, FLS, HMA, PTEN and TRI." Turned out the breakout stocks had 7 out of 9 with a 50 cent up move or better. I just ran the screening for tomorrow, and there was only one stock that showed up on the short term screen, so there won't be any additional stocks on the list for tomorrow...except breakouts and there are 6 of those.
