JOTW, One of my best teachers was an 84 year old Jesuit priest. He had been teaching since 1927. Incredibly he taught film and English. He was not well liked by most and he knew it. He constantly said "you hate me now, but you will come back and give me rave reviews!" His class was almost military: 18 minutes of Chaucer, 13 for poetry, a daily quiz, short stories, Shakespeare... Fr. Damen - **** (by the way - I finished the last week of senior English in the assistant principal's office)
