Steve Lee, I was wondering who does the scheduling for the timing of the earnings announcements... The futures were being pumped until the NOK news hit the wires... photos.yahoo.com photos.yahoo.com Here's a news clip from RFMD yesterday... << RF Micro CFO: Handset demand is increasing [9.1 min] >> Here's NOK's news clip from today... << Nokia lowered its estimates of handset sales this year by 20 million units and said the full-year sales growth of 15 percent predicted in January would now be in the range of 4 to 9 percent >> But, we get a one two punch because KLAC reports before the bell...aren't they supposed to raise estimates for 2003?... The funny thing is NOK's starting to sound like ORCL now. They have been calling for the bottom since last year... EOM Shoreco PS I'm sure they have 1 more semi-pump set-up and then it's back to trading on the economic news, and I'm sure they're already padding some numbers just for the occasion..
