I really think that he is on the right track

most folks I know think de Soto is very smart, very interesting, and on the right track, as you say. they also feel he exaggerates the ease and impact of his proposals, however--that is, it would indeed be worth trying to do some of the things he says, people feel, but it wouldn't be easy to change things and it wouldn't be a panacea for all problems.
