That is probably the way some investors feel but we all know that Horowitz went into the merger as President of INSP and had every intention of running that company until Niven changed his mind, renigged on the deal and the blow up happened. Russ did not walk away. The BOD was spineless and caved into NJ's threats to walk with his patents, as has been report so they chose NJ over RH. Ba-a-a-a-a-d choice as we all now see with the stock at $1.35. The Street will NEVER trust or respect NJ and as long as he is still in charge, there is no hope for this company. I think some of the ML emails have even spoken to that subject.

Russ' biggest mistake was trusting the slime-bag NJ. His choice in merger partners was ill advised...by Merrill Lynch.

Just remember that Russ did not "dump and run". He was forced out.
