Jews are between 2 and 4 percent of the American population, depending upon definition. Few of them are fundamentalists. Many of them are not religious at all, or are barely so--- the majority are secular or Reform Jews. Evangelicals are a larger percent of the population, but still only a fraction of Christians, especially those who are intensely interested in Revelations. The largest denomination is still Roman Catholic, and after that the mainline Protestant churches. I think that the influence of "dispensationalists" is overblown. I do not think that apocalyticism is driving American policy........
