Well, that is a truly scary article.

I may not believe religion can affect reality... but I surely know that those who do believe can have all too baleful an effect.
Of course, those prophecies sound like particular fun given the roles for Jesus. Presumably he'll appear in his fourth, or perhaps original, incarnation - sunfire (AKA a fusion ball...). Lovely.

On the plus side, any surviving fanatics afterwards - assuming they've left enough of the planet sufficiently intact to survive - will have problems finding new converts.

Who's your pick for the anti-Christ with the solution? Maybe someone Chinese? <gg>
