This all smells a bit fishy to me.

Tons of clear air space on both sides of the building. The Pirelli building houses the regional gov't. The pilot SOS's engine trouble, so he most likely had operating flight controls (or as Steve Lee indicated, the plane would have tumbled out of the sky)....... yet somehow the plane hits the building dead center & flying level & causes severe damage to the building.

Eyewitnesses indicate that there is a long wide street that runs right past the Pirelli building. Many people on the ground wondering why he it the building dead center instead of attempting to land on this very wide street right where the crash occurred.

All news sources are strongly indicating that this was most likely an accident though.

Time will tell I guess.
