Probably not a bad idea.. I never liked using ignore because you see the message counter skipping, and it always bothered me because usually those stalking types like Johnson, C Horn, etc etc simply wont go away even when you dont engage them and it always bothered me.. This last week I went crazy and now IM using ignore left and right : ) - theres just too much noise.. Even folks who talk about going out for a special lunch, or just socializing non stop.. all noise..
