The Pirelli building is actually a pretty important architectural landmark (at least important in terms of 20th-century architecture; nobody seems to care about any buildings in Italy that are less than 400 years old <g>). And its near the train station, which if memory serves is RIGHT in the middle of town and quite a ways from the airport, which is well beyond the outskirts of town. I am frankly having trouble understanding how such an "accident" could occur.

Cheers
