Unless you believe that I should be permitted to post anything I want to about you, personally, thousands of such posts all over the internet?

Let's see. There are some good rumors I could start.

Did you all know that AP stole $10 million dollars from his employer and blew it all on a spree at the Las Vegas casinos? Or how about the story that AP has been secretly paid for his postings on SI, and that his denials to that effect are lies? Of course, your sexual exploits with minors are fair game, such as your making and selling child pornography using your own children as models. Right?

If you believe I have the right to post all this stuff about you thousands of times, in the name of free speech, you and I have very different interpretations of the appropriate protections of free speech.
