Willcousa, Michael -

Willco - I have to inform you that Europe has had far more experience with terrorism that the US has Between Northern Irelland, communism (Red Brigade, Bader Meinhof gang) and Middle Eastern politics (most of the Middle East attacks against Americans have happened on European soil). Not to mention the missile attack against the Hell's Angels by another rival US based biker gang (Banditos?).
...So the idea of yet another terrorism attack causing a shift in European attitudes is just idle folly.

Michael - a linguistics puzzle for you.
...Webster's defines Semite as a member of a group of peoples of SW Asia chiefly represented now by the Jews and Arabs. Now consider that Zionism and the formation of Israel was a European movement and that, while they European Jews may still carry some of the Semite genetic markers, they are culturally European.
...Which taken to it's logical conclusion would mean that Israel's actions against the Palestinians was anti-Semitic?
...Go figure!
