USdollar decline has begun, topped in Jan02

USdollar futures contract chart:

the slide in the buck is versus most currencies

my personal view is the USdollar is weighed down by a few factors:
- simple swamp of huge world supply
- gaping US trade deficit now at 4% of GDP
- Fed interest rate hikes later this year
- drumbeat of trade tariffs
- the War on Terrorism not going very well (i.e. MidEast)
- alternatives with other reserve currencies (Euro)

it is technically inconsistent, inappropriate, and fleeting for a debt-denominated instrument to serve as a STORE OF VALUE

implications will cut worldwide, starting with the USstock market and USTBond market, and culminating with gold & silver
