Beg your pardon, i thought you were kidding ... brave man, broadcasting identity and location to every whacko on the planet with net access .... no i was never at Wellburn's home, may have seen it years ago though [bit of a marshalling yard to the side of it, set off Bell McKinnon road?] .... i knew a Vic Walters, had a claim on an arm of Sechelt Inlet in the early sixties, he bought a Le Tourneau truck from Gerry Wellburn ... or bought it from Catermole Trethewey and later sold it to GW? ... all a blur now ... but Wellburn's name came into it somewhere, and i remember the truck, incredible grades it would climb, over washouts, big shot rock, whatever ... and then descend the same with a full load ..... faaaantastic, as our Zalmer would say
