N. envoy says Jenin camp 'shocking and horrifying'
Of course it is. A battle of some days duration took place there.
People were killing each other. What does he expect? A landscape by Olmstead?
I'm losing patience with this kind of stuff.
It's very well known what the two sides are doing to each other.
Could we move on to substantive discussion? Body counts, even if accurate, (highly unlikely), are shocking but don't add substance to discussion, especially when they are repeated, and repeated, and repeated.
Spam about how each side is "bad, very bad, extremely bad, yada yada," is tiresome, uninformative, and leads to unhelpful discussion.
Lots of people got killed in Jenin, mostly palestinians, and most of them probably weren't players and this is tragic. Lots of folk killed in Israel lately, and they weren't players either, and that is tragic.
But I don't feel my understanding is furthered when some person enters a dozen posts of 'news' stories to that effect mostly derived from the same single source.
Sylvester, I don't think you've been doing this, it's just that I cracked when I got to your post. |
