Willcousa - what is it that you want to change in the European attitude?
...All the major European governments got on board with the stop AlQaida program. And, as you have noted, they have been very helpful in that cause. While there was some apriori opposition to the bombing campaign, we did a good job of establishng a civillian friendly strategy that has silenced this complaint.
...So no, I don't think that a successful AlQaida attack would dramatically alter Europe's support for that US campaign.
