I didn't miss your commentary, Poet.

The diversion into gay promiscuity became necessary when the fact of such promiscuity was denied by a number of posters. That tune seems to be changing now.

As to the connection to the Church, no one is seriously disputing that the priesthood has become a heavily gay male culture. No one is seriously disputing that contemporaneously the Church has a widespread boy-molestation problem on its hands. To speculate that the two are connected is eminently reasonable.

Everything we might discuss about the priest scandal is speculative at the present time.
