By the time that ANWAR has any effect at all, some money and incentives put into solar cells and fuel cells would have more effect on cutting our dependence on the Middle East. It is not a question of either or but rather cutting dependency no matter how small the contribution is, unless it is completely insignificant, of course. BTW you forgot to add a bit about engine efficiency, nuclear plants, cold fusion , etc :-)) It is very often that "simplistic view" works the best.... re: But that make too much sense I guess...
