You understand how compromise works, right? It's like bartering. You never get everything you want. Right now, we are building roads into places to log less in dollars than the cost of the road and the damage to the ecosystem.

Are you saying you have to ask for a lot so that when you compromise you still get something?

You may have a point, but my statement of non-support was for the actual proposal, not some uncertain compromise.

As for the logging roads to places where the value of the logs can't cover the cost of the roads my answer to that would be to make the loggers pay the costs of the roads. Then you wont see to many worthless logging roads being built. A much better idea then an overall ban IMO.
