hey...fantastic...that's the first time you've replied directly to me in almost a year.

do you forgive for brusing your ego?

I missed you Ed...

in all seriousness...what are you thinking now...do you think we will return to a strong up move for tech?

do you think there is a housing bubble yet?

have you looked at MTH, RYL, TOL? i'm looking to open some shorts in these pups soon, but...cnbc and the boys on america now are really hyping the idea of giving them multiple expansion on the p/e..saying they should all have another 50% upside...that's scary for shorts...

i expect that the party won't end until the trade deficit is delt with and interest rates rise with a falling dollar and increased unemployment / increased mortgage defaults.

as you can see..i'm still in the bearish camp. I would consider longing NT in the 3's..but...I think it will go bust with time..I think the debt mountain is too large and it will be taken down...shares will be worthless and the debt holders will run the show with time.

I think the real opportunity to make money will come for those that survive this ugly bear...those with cash will be able to find some real bargins in a few years as companies go under and those with real insight can get into convertable bonds as they restructure.

one last question...did you buy any gold stocks over the last year? if yes, why? if not, what do you think it will take for you to move some capital into gold and silver physical or stock?
