There's revulsion to it for me too but also they amuse me, it's sort of an invitation to the dance, to spar with the touts, get a scrap rolling ... in a most ToU-observant manner, of course -g- .... but i don't do much of that any more, sleazeball touts pretty much run out of SI and there's lots of frank and open interaction on political and goof-off threads
One thing is that style of pump really bothers me in the resource juniors, much more than in non-resource bb and pinks sort of crap, as i play juniors a lot, always have, at this point almost all of the thirty-something stocks i hold are exploration or later-stage development minerals plays .... and the whole atmosphere has been damaged badly for them by so many of the ipmcf-type garbage ... it's risky business even when management is honest and competent, it doesn't need any added problems ... but you get to smell the excrement way before it hits the oscillating ventilator, after a while, especially when it's got a 'desert dirt' odour to it .... 'complex metallurgy', 'new technology coming', 'unassayable metal but it's there trust me' .... lol ... you have to laugh, otherwise you'd cry
