If AMD were to win x-Box contract, it will be with a Hammer derivative, not Athlon. X-Box shares a lot of code with Windows, and it would assure complete support for x86-64.

I think the value of x-box to AMD would have been imense, and it was a great loss, IMO. Mainly for bragging rights and closer relationship with Microsoft, but the bottom line contribution would be tangible as well.

Austin Fab could have easily produced Durons that would have been able to run circles around Piii-733. I don't know about the run rate, but let's assume 1 million per quarter at $50. It would have meant a difference between profit and loss this quarter, since the capacity is idle.
