I am using Windows 98 second edition and the browser is Internet Explorer 5.5.4807.2300.
I followed your first suggestion and kicked the "Hardware Acceleration slider bar" down one notch from the maximum setting. (Sorry,I couldn't resist that. Made me sound like Emeril Lagasse! :-)
Your second suggestion was already in place. Since I didn't implement the first suggestion until late last night, I didn't get a chance to see whether or not it had any effect. It only happens selectively so it may take a while for me to notice any results. Thanks for the help.
