Estimates) and Nextel (NXTL: Research, Estimates) had reported
healthy levels of subscriber growth and Motorola hinted that
second-quarter sales of its cell phones would be stronger. But
what really makes Nokia's warning perplexing is the fact that one
of Nokia's biggest suppliers, chip manufacturer RF Micro Devices
(RFMD: Research, Estimates), reported a strong first quarter with
an 85 percent increase in revenue.
