For the same reasons (looney left/energy exploration), you probably like PYR, albeit a higher-risk/higher-reward type of company.

Still, the need for non-Middle Eastern oil will make all places attractive, even Columbia. Given time, SOP could grow into a nice medium-size producer.

I'll stick with my SOP, and probably diversify into some of the ones you suggest.
