Been keeping taps on the good doctor's commentary for many moons and have to say that his gang does a superb job of combing through the U.S. government garbage.... er.... stats. He was one of the first to expose the lunacy passed along to the rest of the world as U.S. GDP ("chained dollars", etc) as well as the huge divergence between U.S. corporate tax receipts and reported earnings. Some think he is "irrelevent". I think he is "required reading".
Yes, he can be a bit redundant, but I can't recall a single issue that didn't broaden my understanding of the global scene.
