But I also don't approve of that lifestyle or those practices. I think they are, quite simply, unnatural.

How do you define "natural"? If you mean "naturally occurring", then all evidence suggests that homosexuality is indeed natural. It exists everywhere in the world, in all cultures, and apparently always has. It is hard for me to define something that seems so inherent a part of human sexual behaviour as "unnatural".

I simply disagree as to what constitutes that which is "normal" and acceptable.

I hope you se the difference between classifying something as "abnormal" and classifying something as "unacceptable". When you classify a certain pattern of behaviour as "unacceptable" you suggest that such behaviour ought not to be tolerated, that it ought to be forcibly restrained.

I don't care who thinks what is "normal", really. I may get a giggle out of seeing people try to declare their own preferences as the "normal" ones, but the classification has no real significance. When you say "unacceptable" it becomes a different matter altogether. I assume - and hope - that you mean "unacceptable to me personally", not "ought not to be accepted by our society".

I would certainly not presume to define normality, but I feel rather strongly that nobody has the right to declare anybody else's preferences "unacceptable", unless those preferences are compromising somebody's rights.
