with all due respect, none of these companies are doing nicely, They are marginally meeting or meeting vastly lowered expectations. They are saying going forward that things will get a litlle better, and its still very tough out there. Meanwhille TXN has a Pe in the stratesphere as do most chip stocks. IMHO the market is going to fall on its face until earnings visability is GOOD not simply OK. INTC and others have 3 digit pe's, its simply unsustainable.

As of today I am short 80% of my trading account, I am short SMH and IBM(I started shorting Ibm in the 120's). I think Qcom downside isnt that bad, and at 30-40PE is a realitive bargain in chips. I will retake a position if it revisits low 30's, or after the CC.
