I see. It sounded as if you were specifically indicting Tom for his behavior. You know, Tom and the other CEOs are leaders who are chartered to provide vision and direction for their companies. If they weren't positive people by nature, they'd fit very poorly in those roles. And while there have been some CEOs guilty of misrepresenting their company's prospects for personal gain, I think the vast majority simply allow their constructive and positive bias to influence their outlook. It's silly to presume they are all guilty of malfeasance.

You certainly are, but when you accuse a CEO of intentional deception, it's not unreasonable that you be asked to support the allegation. Many of us on this forum have invested in Siebel specifically because of Tom's leadership, vision, and integrity. Did you really expect that impugning his honesty wouldn't draw a strong reaction? Nah, you're too smart for that; I think you were looking attention, even it if was in the form of a fight. I'm sorry I allowed myself to oblige you.
