I have come under some serious fire on the IPMCF thread for pointing out the damage pooched public relations can bring on a company. What has happened with MGAU is the textbook case of a PR failure. Sometimes, it seems no one agrees with me except for Mr. Market. Of course, he is the one to whom we must listen!

This has not been a good time for the sands/clays/dirts, to be diplomatic. Everyone has their favorites (I do not want to get into a holy war about MXAM/CHIP/MGAU/IPMCF/et cetera), but they have all distinguished themselves by being terribly frustrating places to have one's money this summer (while Dell computers becomes the one-year five-bagger we dream of here, the semiconductor index doubles in eleven months, and the Dow heads towards 10,000).

Unless one of these companies pulls a positive, verifiable surprise, the existence of a Behre-Dorbear report for IPM by the end of the "30-45" day period mentioned in the 24 June press release (August 8), will be the key event for this entire group, perhaps permanently.

Until then, we stew, snipe, and sweat.
