It does. They have a table to show you what to expect in various parts of the country. They have done field tests in Minnesota, which is sort of a worse case for the US.

Yeah it would. But fuel cells are at the chicken and egg stage, the costs are high because they aren't used much, and they are only used in specialty applications because the cost is so high.

In general, it's best to let the market take it's course. But if the goal is to reduce our dependencies on the Middle East, I'd rather see something else developed than go another round with oil. I would rather see a long term solution than to keeps applying bandaids...
