I think the software will be easily copied in the not too distant future, but who has a DVD burner right now anyway? However, when dvd burners hit more mainstream (probably within another year or so), I bet we'll see xbox games getting ripped off like everything else.

The real problem with the xbox IMO is lack of games. I've got an xbox myself, and I love the system, the hard drive alone makes it a better deal then any competing systems, but almost all the good games for xbox are available for ps2, and there are a crapload of good ps/2 games not available for xbox.

The only 2 games I own which were really worth the money are SSX tricky and Madden 2002, which are both also available for other systems.
