doug: The real problem with the xbox IMO is lack of games. I've got an xbox myself, and I love the system, the hard drive alone makes it a better deal then any competing systems, but almost all the good games for xbox are available for ps2, and there are a crapload of good ps/2 games not available for xbox.

XBox is expensive as h*ll in Europe&#133 $475 here in Denmark (>50% more than in the U.S., as far as I can tell), compared to just under $300 for the PS2.

Recent reports are that MS is preparing to dump the price of the XBox to match the PS2 price tag.

They sure need to do something. XBox sales [in Europe] are lagging PS2 sales (console to console) by an order of magnitude!
